About

Barry Island Food Festival

🌊🍔The Barry Island Food Festival is back, bringing two unforgettable days of incredible food, live music and independent traders to the Barry Island. 🎶🌊.

📅 Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 June 2026

⏰ 12noon - 8pm Daily

📍 Barry Island Promenade

Set on the promenade overlooking Whitmore Bay beach, the much-loved festival will once again transform the Island into a vibrant celebration of local and independent food, drink and creativity. Visitors can look forward to an exciting programme of street food and artisan produce, live music performances and an indie market showcasing talented makers, producers and small businesses from across the Vale and beyond.

This year’s event has been developed in collaboration with Indie Collectives, Digital Creator Llio Angharad and 96 Events, helping to bring together some of the best emerging food traders, performers and creative businesses to the Vale’s most famous seaside location.

With its unique coastal setting and relaxed summer atmosphere, the festival offers the perfect opportunity for families, friends and visitors to enjoy great food, discover independent makers and soak up live music just steps from the sea.

Follow Visit the Vale and the official Barry Island Food Festival channels on social media for programme announcements, trader line-ups and live music schedules in the weeks leading up to the event.

So grab your bucket hat, spade and sun cream and join us on the Island this June for two days of unforgettable food, music and seaside fun!

This year's festival is brought to you by the Vale of Glamorgan Council in partnership with Indie Collectives, Digital Creator Llio Angharad and 96 Events.
